Our Story
Lates News!! we hav finally moved into a larger building just a few blocks from where we have been located to 1100 Roosevelt Road in Walkerton IN.
It all started with antique dishes. For many years, Phyllis and her husband, Charles Wille, owned Triple Cross Antiques & Collectibles in their hometown of Walkerton, IN. The best part of the job, though, was selling and matching beautiful dishware. That love became a springboard into launching a new business, Kitchen Store, which opened in 2006 in downtown Walkerton, IN. Not long after opening, they expanded their product selection from dishes and quality cookware to include gourmet, free-trade coffees, teas, spices, and oils.
Their business outgrew their building and in 2012, New Kitchen Store opened in its current location just north of town. Today, they sell thousands of products that range from high-end utensils and small appliances to the most basic home kitchen needs. They feature many American-made brands like Lodge Cast Iron and The Great Scape: The Woody Paddle as well as distinguished kitchenware from abroad, like world-renown Wustof knives, Alessi teapots, and Garnier Thiebaut fine French linens. 
Along with their wide range of quality products, New Kitchen Store offers their customers a gift basket program, bridal registry, year-round cooking classes, and a farmer’s market during warm weather.
New Kitchen Store is dedicated to offer high-quality products that are serviceable, well-made, improve healthy lifestyles, and promote go-green choices. They are also highly involved in their community and donate a share of their profits to local charities.
