Sencha is the most-consumed green tea in Japan. Ours is grown in the volcanic soil of the southern island of Kyushu, the second largest tea growing area of Japan. This is a beautiful leaf that steeps to a lightly vegetative liquor. Perfect for cold-steeping. It's healthy because it contains the powerful antioxidant EGCG. Drink four cups each day - hot or cold. Remember to never put boiling water on green tea!
