Nachos were created in 1943 by Ignacio Anaya, who worked in the family’s restaurant in Mexico, just barely over the Texan border. One day, a regular requested a snack that was just plain “different.” Ignacio, or “Nacho” as his friends called him, returned a few minutes later with a plate of freshly made corn tortillas topped with a special cheese sauce and jalapenos. They were named Nacho’s Special on the spot. Our signature twist on Senior Nacho’s sauce will light a happy light campfire on your tongue with the combinations of rich dairy and perfectly balanced spices!

Cooking Notes

• Try as a dip: 3TBLSP of Nacho Blend to 1 cup of sour cream.
• Cheesy, roasted vegetables : Toss your favorite vegetables in olive oil and Nacho before roasting.  Cheesy goodness!!
